The Center for Law, Science and Innovation (LSI) is an established leader in addressing the extraordinary legal and regulatory problems caused by the rapid developments in science and technology in today’s world. As the first and largest academic center focused on the intersection of law and science and technology, the Center’s mission is to use policy as an enabler of innovation for the betterment of society.
From robotics to genetics, neuroscience to nanotech, the center's innovative projects and programs constantly evolve to address challenging governance and policy questions through conferences and workshops, research projects, scholarship, expert consultations, and outreach activities in which our students also actively participate.
