Center for Gender Equity in Science and Technology

With federal and philanthropic funding, advocacy and the creation of new knowlege, the Center for Gender Equity in Science and Technology (CGEST) conducts research and builds programs to advance the experiences, increase participation and success for you and adolescent of underrepresented girls in STEM programs.

Center programs include spring-break camps, summer, afterscholl and year-long programs in digital media, documentary filmmaking, game design, podcasting and virtual worlds. COMPUGIRLS and COMPUPOWER support teachers, parents, students and industry. The center also hosts Women of Color Entrepreneurship STEM Conference.
