Institute for Social Science Research

The Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) provides support for research and training in the social sciences through faculty seed grants, high profile speakers, training workshops, a graduate student poster contest, and graduate and undergraduate certificates in social science research methods.

The institute is directed by H. Russell Bernard,  who is a professor in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change, and a member of the National Academy of Sciences.
