Counseling and Counseling Psychology
In the College of Integrative Sciences and the Arts, the faculty members in Counseling and Counseling Psychology focus on the education of counselors and psychologists to become culturally competent to work with a diverse clientele in a variety of mental health settings.
We highlight the use of research to inform our knowledge base and our training to prevent or treat psychological problems and to promote the health of individuals, families, groups, and organizations in a multicultural and diverse society.
Among our support programs are the CareerWISE Project and the Counselor Training Center.
